What areas do you offer balloon delivery?

Balloon delivery is available in Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch and anywhere that has a BH postcode. Delivery outside these areas may be available at an additional cost.

Balloon-In-A-Box can be delivered to anywhere in the UK (some remote parts of Scotland are excluded from this).

How much do you charge for balloon delivery?

Standard delivery is charged at a fixed rate of £4.95. This includes your order being hand delivered by one of our friendly team within the BH postcode. 

Balloon-In-A-Box is charged at £4.95 for next day delivery and £9 for guaranteed delivery before 9AM or Saturday deliveries. 

How do I arrange delivery?

You will be asked to select this information when making your purchase online.

Is same day delivery available?

Yes. Same day delivery is available on items we have in stock within the BH postcode. 

On occasions the website may allow you to order something for same day delivery that we don’t have in stock. On this rare occasion we will contact you and make suggestions on similar items we have in stock. If you aren’t happy with the replacement, we will offer a full refund.  

What days and times do you offer delivery?

BH postcode delivery is available between 9AM – 9PM Monday – Sunday. You will be asked to select an hour time slot for your delivery when making your purchase.

Balloon-In-A-Box deliveries are available Monday – Saturday excluding bank holidays. If your recipient isn’t in, then a card will be left for them to collect from their local depo.

How do I look after my balloon(s)?

Wham Bam Balloon can not be held responsible for balloons that pop once delivered and in your possession. Here are some tips on how to look after your balloon(s). 

  • Balloons can be punctured easily. Please keep them away from sharp objects including corners of furniture, car doors and rough surfaces. 
  • Static can potentially make balloons burst, please don’t place them near computers, TVs etc. 
  • Helium gas expands in the heat & contracts in colder temperatures. Keeping the balloons in an even temperature will reduce the risk of burst or deflating and prolong its life. 
  • Although balloons can be enjoyed outside, the changing environments such as temperature changes, wind & rain can affect the balloons life. Please take care when placing balloons outside, making sure they are kept away from trees, walls & fences. Latex balloons will oxidase (lose their shine & become a matt colour) when left outside.
  • Be careful when handling balloons especially children as they are prone to pop so please handle with care. 

How does Balloon-In-A-Box work?

Balloon-In-A-Box allows you to send an 18 inch foil balloon to anywhere in the UK (some remote parts of Scotland are excluded from this).

Your balloon will be carefully wrapped in tissue paper and placed inside a box of your choice. When opened the balloon will gently pop-out putting a smile on your recipient’s face.

Balloons are sent via First Class or Guaranteed Special Delivery which can be purchased at the checkout. Deliveries are available Monday – Saturday (Sundays if delivery to BH postcode) excluding bank holidays and you can select your delivery date via the calendar above. If your recipient isn’t in, then a card will be left for them to collect from their local depo.

Delivery - For orders placed before 5:00PM we can offer guaranteed day next delivery to most UK addresses (some remote parts of Scotland are excluded from this). Orders placed on Saturdays & Sundays will be sent on the Monday for delivery on the Tuesday. You can also select guaranteed delivery before 9AM or Saturday delivery for an additional £9. 

Can I collect my order?

Yes, collection is available by appointment only from The Triangle in Bournemouth. This can be selected when purchasing online.

We are here to help! We have access to a wide range of balloons and party accessories so if you can’t find what you’re looking for then please get in touch and we’ll be happy to help!  

Do you offer a bespoke service?

Yes, whatever your occasion please get in touch and we’ll be happy to help! We can help with balloon decorations and party accessories.

How do I know you have received my order?

You will receive an email once your order has been submitted, please check your junk folder just in case. When your order is ready for delivery you will receive a second email confirming and another one once it has been delivered.

How long do helium balloons stay afloat?

Latex balloons will stay afloat with helium for around 8-12 hours although our balloons are filled with a solution called Hi Float which can increase float time up to 25 times longer.

Foil balloons will stay afloat for around 2-5 days.

Bubble Balloons will stay afloat for the following times depending on their size. 20” 7-10 days, 22” 2-4 weeks, 24” 3-5 weeks.

Are your balloons friendly to the environment?

Latex balloons are made from natural materials from trees and are biodegradable.

Foil and Bubble balloons however are not biodegradable, but they can be refilled, and they are recyclable.

Do you delivery outside the BH postcode?

We do offer delivery outside the BH postcode, but these may accrue additional delivery charges. Please contact us to discuss.

How can I cancel my order?

Please contact us on 07780110725 to cancel your order or email us at 

Orders cancelled with at least 3 days noticed will receive a full refund. 

Orders that are cancelled within 3 days of delivery will be subject to a 20% cancellation fee to cover stock costs as we are unable to return them to our wholesalers. 

If you cancel within 10 hours of your delivery time will we refund you any paid delivery only. The reason for this is that we may have already inflated your balloons which cannot be reused.
